Live Well’s Meditation Immersion & Guide Program

A one-of-a-kind, 10-month intensive for those who are looking for an immersive and inspiring meditation training and for current practitioners intending to share the practice with others. This program can be enrolled in separately or as a segment of Live Well’s 300-hr Yoga Teacher Training Program.

Live Well Studio’s 2016-2017 meditation immersion and guide program is unlike any other and is for serious seekers, yogis, meditators and curious philosophers alike. Our ten months of study together will follow a comprehensive spiritual curriculum and include deepening meditative practice, inquiry, community, and dialogue. The weekend-based, 10-module program is designed to investigate contemplative and meditative practice sequentially, beginning with foundations and building gradually to the deeper, more esoteric and rare spiritual teachings. The immersion will culminate in an off-site, guided weekend silent retreat. Most practices are inspired by or derived from the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism and classical Patanjali Yoga, yet the practices will be held in a greater context of modern, Western, integral spirituality. Clear pathways will be carved by our time together, but each practitioner will weave his or her own journey. Participants will become steeped in practice and methodology, understanding not just the “how” but also the “why.” The only prerequisite for the program is a keen, consistent, and dedicated interest in meditative practice. Experienced practitioners (3+ years) and yoga instructors may also apply this program toward a mentored practicum and meditation teaching certificate. The full program is approximately 125 in-class hours over ten months. Entry by application.
